TITLE: Equipment Sales and Purchasing
STATUS: Full-time, straight commission
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Identify, develop and maintain excellent client relationships, calling on key decision-makers to develop new business, mostly via telephone.
- Sell Sun Microsystems and related hardware and software to retail and wholesale customers.
- Identify equipment sources and purchase hardware to fill orders or replenish stock.
- Write professional sales presentations, quotations, bids and proposals.
- Responsible for meeting specific revenue goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior sales and/or purchasing experience, especially in the computer (particularly Sun) marketplace preferred.
- Knowledge of Sun marketplace and sales channels preferred.
- Outstanding organizational, communication and written skills mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to produce at a high level in a professional sales environment preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
